The carbon baking furnace is a kind of thermal equipment that indirectly heats various carbon products after high pressure forming at the specified baking temperature under the condition of isolating air, so as to improve the electrical and thermal conductivity of the products and increase the strength of the products.
Carbon baking furnace is divided into furnace bottom, side wall, fire channel wall, horizontal wall, furnace top and flue according to its structure. There are two types of carbon roasting furnaces commonly used at home and abroad, namely, open ring roasting furnaces and covered roasting furnaces.
These two types of baking furnaces are mainly used for the baking of carbon anodes and cathodes for aluminum and the baking of steelmaking electrodes.
